Business System Lead

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Analysis & Solution AlignmentServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT to translate business needs into scalable system and process solutionsLead business process analysis and needs assessments to align technology solutions with enterprise initiativesConduct in-depth analysis of business challenges and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and productivityEvaluate business opportunities and develop formal recommendations for leadership based on data-driven insightsRequirements & Documentation LeadershipLead requirements elicitation sessions, including development of use cases, user stories, and functional specificationsDocument current-state (“as-is”) and future-state workflows, business rules, and solution designsDevelop and maintain complex business and system requirements documentationEstablish and enforce consistent documentation standards and analysis practicesDelivery Execution & SDLC LeadershipLead analysis efforts for large, complex system implementations or enhancementsParticipate in and guide Agile and/or Waterfall SDLC processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, IT) to assess system impacts and ensure solution alignmentOversee or support testing activities, including test case development and validationSupport or lead delivery efforts using project or program management methodologiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience in business systems analysisProven experience leading analysis efforts on complex, enterprise-scale initiativesExperience mentoring or leading analysts or technical teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
