The Business Systems Analyst - Operations is responsible for working with the Business to document requirements and assisting in the development of designs for implementation. This position will interface with various departments including Accounting, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplement projects from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, writing test scripts, implementing, Production support and training end users and IT support staffWork on all areas of E-Business suite with expert knowledge on Order Management, Inventory, Receivables, Vertex, Shipping, Oracle Advanced Pricing, EDI, Intercompany flows, AME and working knowledge on Service Contracts, Bills of Material, Work-in-Process, Quality and Supply ChainWork on key processes and elements including planning and scheduling, inventory replenishment, serial-level transactions, purchase order processes, requisition/PO approval process, internal order/sales order process, receiving processes against POs/internal orders/inter-org shipments, outside processing, Holds, integration with outsourced warehouses, Custom or third-party applications, consigned inventory, etc.Guide team in developing reports, customizations, interfaces and extensions for Oracle applicationsAct as a liaison between business users and technical team membersIdentify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement changeSupport and enhance Oracle Applications interfaces integrated with non-Oracle systemsCreate functional requirements and technical designDrive test planning and executionAssist end users with day-to-day applications troubleshooting and end user questionsParticipate in 24/7 department on-call program and work with IT teams/business users across time zone when required.Work on special projects as assignedKnowledge & SkillsAble to interact with Business leaders and IT, as well as being able to operate comfortably at all levels of the organizationExcellent documentation skills; methodological experience with AIMDeep knowledge on operational processes like customer service, shipping and warehouse management and Oracle E-Business Suite application knowledgeDemonstrate proactive business judgment and decision-making skills; past results are indicative of consistently providing sound and effective business decisionsStrong customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent collaboration skills and able to work in a team environmentAble to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent collaboration skills and able to work in a team environmentMinimum Qualifications, Education & Experience Must be at least 18 years of ageBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related equivalent IT fieldExperience in Oracle E-Business R12 required7+ years of experience working with Oracle Supply Chain applications as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems AnalystExperience with EDI preferredKnowledge/experience with using Oracle Application Tables, SQL, PL/SQL preferredExperience supporting/ implementing Oracle E-Business applicationsWork EnvironmentThis is largely a sedentary role.This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
