Business Technology Lead

Role PurposeThe Business Technology Lead partners with business teams and global IT to translate business needs into effective technology solutions, ensuring smooth, secure, and value-adding delivery of applications, systems, integrations, data, and AI capabilities. The role also provides advanced operational support to maintain optimal IT service levels, data quality, and user experience. He / She acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business and users based in the market and collaborates on wider group scope where and as needed.Key AccountabilitiesBusiness Partnership & Technology DeliveryCollaborate with business stakeholders and global IT teams to identify business needs and demands, gather requirements, and translate them into technology solutions.· Analyze and manage change requests, ensuring valid and approved ones are implemented effectively.· Manage vendor and partner expectations to ensure consistent delivery of IT services and solutions.· Ensure enterprise applications, systems, integrations, and AI models are deployed, supported, and enhanced to drive business value.Data & Analytics· Develop, write, and optimize complex queries for data retrieval, reporting, and analysis.· Create and maintain database objects such as views and stored procedures.· Collaborate with business users to understand data and AI requirements and convert them into reliable data solutions.· Perform data validation, verification, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and system performance.· Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and integration processes for projects and migrations.Applications, Systems & AI Support· Provide advanced support and resolve issues related to applications, systems, integrations, databases, and AI models.· Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, processes, and user experience.· Deliver user training and awareness sessions to promote adoption and effective use of IT solutions.IT Operations, Service Management & SecurityEnsure high-quality IT service by addressing issues promptly or escalating them when required.· Maintain an up-to-date and compliant IT asset inventory.· Support monitoring and implementation of IT security controls (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, access management).· Uphold organizational policies and contribute to ongoing improvement of IT governance and security practices.General & Additional Responsibilities· Perform other duties aligned with business needs, priorities, and evolving technology requirements.· Act as a role model by living the Transmed Purpose on daily basisRole RequirementsAcademic Education & Professional Certifications· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems,Data Science, AI or related discipline.· Masters in computer science or related field is a plus.· Certification and / or proficiency in enterprise applications,AI, and programming languages such as Python, and database query languages such as SQL is preferred.· Certification in cloud computing platforms such as Azure,Oracle and AWS is a plus.Operational & Managerial Experience· 5+ years of progressive business technology experience.· Local market experience is a plus.· Experience in sales driven organization is a plus.· Experience with data visualization and ability to describe findings to a technical and non-technical user.· Strong interpersonal and networking skills, ability to interact with all areas of the business internally and externally.· Experience in project management, managing deliverables and milestones, on time, within budget, and meeting quality business needs.
