Our client, an established international healthcare organization with a strong Consumer Healthcare portfolio, is looking for an experienced Regional Business Unit Head to lead and accelerate its business across the Gulf region.The role will own the commercial agenda across P&L, sales, go-to-market strategy, pricing, portfolio development and execution, with a strong mandate to accelerate profitable growth and further scale the existing business.We are particularly interested in commercially driven leaders who combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and who have successfully grown Consumer Healthcare / OTC businesses within the Gulf region.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the commercial strategy and performance of the Consumer Healthcare business across the Gulf.Take accountability for P&L, revenue growth, profitability, pricing and commercial planning.Develop and execute effective go-to-market and channel strategies across pharmacy, retail, distributors and relevant digital channels.Identify opportunities to expand existing brands, channels and markets while strengthening the overall portfolio.Lead distributor and key-account relationships and ensure strong in-market commercial execution.Build and develop a high-performing commercial organization, creating clear accountability for growth and execution.Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to translate portfolio strategy into sustainable commercial results.Bring strong market understanding and an entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate the next stage of growth.Ideal ProfileYou bring substantial commercial leadership experience within Consumer Healthcare / OTC, ideally gained in multinational or well-established regional organizations. You have previously owned a meaningful business/P&L and can demonstrate measurable growth rather than purely functional Sales or Marketing responsibility.Strong exposure to the Gulf markets, particularly the UAE and ideally Kuwait, is highly relevant. Experience across pharmacy/retail channels, distributor management, pricing, GTM and portfolio development is important, alongside the ability to lead sizeable commercial teams.Experience building and positioning high-value or premium healthcare brands would be particularly attractive.
