The organization is committed to rigorous scientific identification, high-quality formulation and manufacturing, and thorough laboratory testing from start to finish, ensuring reliable products for its clients.Role Description The Buyer is a full-time, on-site role based in Anaheim, CA, responsible for procuring raw materials, packaging, and services needed to support manufacturing operations. This role manages supplier relationships, negotiates pricing and terms, and ensures materials meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing purchase requests, issuing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating delivery schedules to prevent production delays. The Buyer collaborates closely with production, quality, and finance teams to align purchasing activities with demand forecasts and budget requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, analyzing spend data, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Qualifications Experience in purchasing or procurement within manufacturing or related industries, preferably in dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceuticals.Strong skills in vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and contract management, with the ability to build and maintain professional supplier relationships.Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, and basic supply chain principles, including lead times and safety stock management.Familiarity with GMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for raw material identification, handling, and documentation.Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems and standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, and document management tools).Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams on-site.Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
