Buyer

Our Buyer is responsible for managing OTB deployed and product selection, ensuring point of sales are filled commercially, and the brand image is well executed. These key points are reflected from pre-buying stage to the post buying stage and are monitored throughout the season.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate creative drive and talent in planning, selecting and buying product.Utilize knowledge and expertise to bring in innovative new merchandise, new concepts and potentially exclusive products to attract new customers and grow sales.Influence and challenge OTB creation, managing how to spend OTB.Analyze and interpret sales figures to make good business decisions.Take responsibility for gross margin, stock turn and sell thru.Actively participate in buys, product selection, and quantifying orders.Manage the sale markdown strategy and stock liquidation.Present the buys to management and store team.Work closely with marketing, VM and store teams, supply chain and e-commerce.Demonstrate awareness of trends, global market trends and competitors.Own supplier relationship and communication.Actively negotiate with suppliers on stock swaps, RTVs, markdown contribution.Your Profile:Bachelors degree in Business, Fashion or relevant.6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role in luxury.Strong buying and retail analytical skills.Open to travel in regular intervals.Market savvy and experience in stock management.Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.Must be proficient in Excel.Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is a plus.The ability to approach data and situations logically.Analytical, attention for details and ability to meet deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
