HCL Technologies LTD (HCLTech) is seeking a motivated Buyer to oversee the procurement of indirect materials and services across the Americas region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires previous experience in sourcing and supplier management, as well as working with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives. This role will be reporting to the Lead of Facilities Procurement in the Americas.Key responsibilities:Key responsibilities include developing and executing purchasing strategies, evaluating supplier performance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and fulfill business needs. Strong communication skills are essential for building partnerships, resolving issues, and presenting recommendations to management. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.Manage the procurement process for indirect materials and services in the Americas regionIdentify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal termsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiativesMonitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standardsPrepare and present reports and recommendations to stakeholdersDrive cost savings and process improvements across purchasing activitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management, or purchasingAbility to work hours that align with US time zones (5:00pm IST to 2:30AM IST) is a mustDemonstrated experience in procurement within a variety of non-IT business services and indirect materials categories across multiple countries, ideally within the Americas regionProficient in verbal communication, writing, time management, organizational and presentation skills Strong work ethic displaying a mature and professional attitude with an ability to adjust quickly to change and to work independently with minimal direct oversight.Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExcellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailFluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plusIf you are a results-driven professional with a passion for procurement and supplier management, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.LocationThis position is based out of Noida, India, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements
