Combining pharmaceutical expertise with a modern approach to wellbeing, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services while putting people at the heart of everything we do. Job position: Buyer – Pharma / RetailWe are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team and support the purchasing and commercial operations of our pharmaceutical/retail business.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, excellent supplier management skills, and a solid understanding of product availability, pricing, stock management, and retail operations. Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and place orders with suppliers based on stock levels, demand, sales etc.Communicate directly with suppliers to resolve operational issues, including product codes, pricing discrepancies, availability, quantities, and deliveries. Co-operates with suppliers for the collection of all kinds of data, arrangements and agreements and is responsible for the proper internal forwarding of all documents. Supports the Category Manager by communicating with the suppliers about prices and quantities of products and maintains relative files and documentation as well as doing the follow-up for timely due deliveries of the advertised products. Is responsible for calculating and placing orders with suppliers.Communicates with the stores/pharmacies to inform and update them as well as to answer their questions or reply to their requests.  Is responsible to input data in the ERP system, performs the listing of new articles, updates product databases and forwards information to the stores accordingly.Performs analysis of relevant data to support decision making.Expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of the job role. Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, etc.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Buyer, preferably within a retail chain, pharmacy chain, beauty retailer, FMCG company, or other structured retail organization.Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, supplier management, and stock replenishment processes.Experience in supplier negotiation, purchase order management, product sourcing, and maintaining effective supplier relationships.Good understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and stock availability.Hands-on experience with ERP systems and product/master data management.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze sales, stock, pricing, and purchasing data.Competencies:Strong analytical and numerical skills, with good Excel knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.Good command of English
