C++ Developer (HFT)

Our client is looking for a C++ Software Engineer with experience developing high-load applications. The successful candidate will work on developing and optimising trading systems, algorithms, and connections to cryptocurrency exchanges. This role is well-suited to an engineer who has experience working with systems where every microsecond matters and performance, reliability, and efficiency are critical.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain connections to cryptocurrency exchanges and data providers, as well as troubleshoot market data issues.Develop and implement new features.Collaborate with different teams to ensure the correct behaviour of algorithms and continuously improve trading systems.Assist with identifying and resolving smaller bugs and technical issues.Required Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.Extensive experience with C++.Proven experience working with high-load applications.Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Good understanding of networking concepts.Knowledge of financial markets and low-latency/high-frequency systems and/or distributed systems.Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows, such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.Bonus SkillsExperience with Python and/or Kafka.Experience working with networking protocols such as REST, WebSockets, and FIX.Experience with AWS, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.What Our Client OffersFlexible working hours and a healthy work-life balance.A remote-first working environment.The opportunity to work in a thriving, multicultural, and dynamic environment within one of the fastest-growing industries in the world.Corporate workations, with regular company trips to exciting destinations around the world, providing opportunities to build relationships with colleagues, work collaboratively, and experience different cultures
