The company provides a wide range of energy solutions to clients across multiple industries. Thuan Hai imports coal from reputable mines in Indonesia, Australia, and Russia and invests in boiler systems to supply steam and heat to factories while meeting environmental and safety standards. The company is trusted by customers to operate, maintain, and optimize their boiler systems. Thuan Hai currently operates 50 boiler plants in Vietnam and imports approximately 2,000,000 tons of coal annually.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The CA and CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning to support business growth. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. The role involves analyzing financial data to provide strategic recommendations, managing relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, and supporting investment and financing decisions. The CA and CFO will also lead and develop the finance team, implement effective internal controls, and contribute to risk management and corporate governance across the organization.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and business performance evaluation.Candidates should possess solid experience in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and regulatory submissions.Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency.Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field are preferred.Experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally in energy, manufacturing, or heavy industry, and familiarity with Vietnamese and international accounting standards are beneficial.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive management and cross-functional teams.Proven ability to implement internal controls, manage financial risk, and support corporate governance in a growing organization.
