Allen Organ Co. provides a stable, hands-on work environment where skilled tradespeople can develop and apply their craft in a specialized industry.Role Description This full-time Cabinet Maker role is an on-site position located in Macungie, PA. The Cabinet Maker will construct, assemble, and finish wooden cabinets and organ consoles, following detailed plans, drawings, and production specifications. Daily responsibilities include measuring and cutting materials, operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, fitting and installing components, and ensuring high-quality joinery and finishes. The role also involves inspecting finished work for accuracy, collaborating with other production team members, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and adhering to company quality and safety standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Cabinetry and Woodworking for constructing, assembling, and finishing cabinets and consoles.Candidates should possess skills in Carpentry and Millwork for precise cutting, shaping, and installation of wood components.Candidates should possess skills in Spatial Design for interpreting drawings, layouts, and measurements to ensure accurate fit and alignment.Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality, with the ability to follow technical specifications and blueprints.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform physical tasks associated with cabinetmaking.Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment.Prior experience in cabinetmaking, furniture making, or a related woodworking trade is preferred; vocational or technical training in woodworking or carpentry is beneficial.
