CAD Designer (3D AutoCAD)Onsite | Whitinsville, MAOur client is seeking a CAD Detailer with strong 3D AutoCAD experience and a background in construction design for trade show exhibits, cabinetry, millwork, custom fixtures, or similar fabrication-driven environments.This role will be responsible for creating detailed production and shop drawings that support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom exhibit and display components.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed shop, fabrication, and construction drawings using AutoCADDevelop 3D AutoCAD models for custom exhibit and display componentsProduce assembly, installation, and production documentationCollaborate with design, project management, and production teams to ensure designs are buildable and accurateReview projects for constructability, material requirements, and fabrication feasibilitySupport multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentRequirementsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D AutoCAD modelingExperience creating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentationBackground in trade show exhibits, cabinetry, millwork, custom woodworking, retail fixtures, store displays, or similar industriesUnderstanding of construction methods, fabrication processes, and assembly techniquesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate, buildable documentationPreferredExperience supporting CNC production workflowsFamiliarity with Inventor, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling softwarePortfolio Required: Please submit examples of relevant 3D models, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cabinetry, millwork, or exhibit-related projects.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
