We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/SummaryUnder the direction of the Project Engineering Manager, the US CAD Drafter/Designer will create and revise drawings and bill of materials on rotating equipment including pumps, engines, electric motors, vessels, piping, valves, and instrumentation, interfacing daily with mechanical engineers.Currently seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer to join our 529 Katy, TX locationResponsibilities of the CAD Drafter/Designer include, but are not limited to: Creating and revising drawings and bill of materials on rotating equipment including pumps, engines, electric motors, vessels, piping, valves, and instrumentation Interfacing daily with mechanical engineers Reporting to Project Engineering Manager #ZRTSQualifications of the CAD Drafter/Designer include, but are not limited to: 3 years minimum pipe routing experience with SolidWorks required Experience with weldments and routing within SolidWorks required PC literate; typically, MS Office, Word, and Excel Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated Additional InformationPhysical Demand: N/AWorking Conditions: Office environmentTraining/Certifications: SolidWorksShift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday 8am to 5 pmTravel: N/AEducation: High School or GED, some college in Mechanical Drafting preferred
