Team members work in an environment that values innovation, quality, and collaboration.Role Description The CAD Jewellery Designer will create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for diamond and gemstone jewelry, aligned with brand aesthetics and manufacturing requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design briefs and sketches into production-ready CAD files, preparing construction drawings for in-house manufacturing, and refining designs based on feedback from design, merchandising, and production teams. The role involves collaborating closely with engineers and artisans to ensure feasibility, durability, and accurate stone setting, while maintaining consistency in quality and specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular coordination with cross-functional teams and active participation in design reviews.Qualifications Strong Drawing and Technical Drawing skills to conceptualize and visualize jewelry designs with precision.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for jewelry (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD) to create accurate 3D models and renderings.Ability to develop Construction Drawings and apply Design Engineering principles to ensure structural integrity and manufacturability.Knowledge of diamond and gemstone setting, metal properties, and jewelry manufacturing processes.Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to interpret design briefs into functional, attractive products.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with design, production, and merchandising teams.Relevant diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field; prior experience as a CAD jewelry designer is preferred.Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and adapt to a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
