CAD Revit Draftsman

Job Title: DraftsmanSalary: Up to 12kAbout the RoleA leading commercial design and build company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Draftsman to join their delivery team, working across a varied pipeline of commercial fit-out and construction projects.You'll sit at the heart of the design-to-delivery process — turning design intent into technically accurate, buildable drawings that site teams can actually work from. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable owning drawings from early concept right through to construction issue, and who enjoys the problem-solving that comes with resolving design details on live projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial fit-out and construction projects, from concept through to construction issue and as-built documentationBuild, develop and maintain Revit models, ensuring full coordination across architectural, structural and MEP disciplinesPrepare CAD drawings, working details, joinery details and shop drawings to support the design and build processTranslate design intent into technically resolved, buildable details — flagging clashes or discrepancies before they hit siteLiaise closely with designers, project managers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure drawings reflect real site conditions and evolving client requirementsManage drawing registers, revisions and version control across multiple live projects simultaneouslySupport quantity take-offs, material schedules and specification documentation where requiredAttend site visits as needed to verify existing conditions and resolve on-site queriesEnsure all drawings comply with relevant Dubai authority regulations (DM, DDA, Trakhees, or Free Zone requirements as applicable) and project specificationsRequirementsProven experience as a Draftsman within a design and build or commercial fit-out environmentStrong, hands-on working knowledge of Revit and AutoCADSolid understanding of construction detailing, materials, junctions and build methodsAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawingsComfortable managing multiple live projects and tight deadlines without compromising accuracySharp attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentationStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with design, procurement and site teamsExperience working in the UAE is essential.
