WE’RE HIRING | 2D & 3D WEDDING DESIGNER – STRUCTURESKonark Weddings | JaipurWe’re looking for a 2D & 3D Designer with a strong understanding of structures, dimensions, materials and load requirements to join our wedding design team.Our work involves creating large-scale mandaps, stages, entrances, pavilions, temporary structures and elaborate wedding installations. We need someone who can not only make beautiful designs, but also understand how those designs can be safely and practically built on site.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Create detailed 2D drawings, plans, elevations and sections• Develop 3D models and realistic visualisations of wedding setups• Design large-scale mandaps, stages, entrances and temporary structures• Prepare structural and fabrication drawings for execution• Understand dimensions, proportions, materials and construction methods• Have a practical understanding of structural stability and load requirements• Translate creative concepts into technically feasible designs• Coordinate with production, fabrication and execution teams• Make design revisions based on site conditions and execution requirements• Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed and execution-ready• Visit sites when required to understand measurements and conditions• Work closely with the team to ensure the final execution matches the approved designWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• Experience in architecture, structural design, interior design, event design or wedding decor• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D design software• Practical knowledge of structures, load distribution, stability and fabrication• Ability to understand how large temporary structures are assembled and supported• Strong understanding of materials such as MS, wood, aluminium, fabric and other event construction materials• Ability to create detailed drawings that fabricators and execution teams can work from• Strong design sense combined with technical understanding• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy• Good communication and coordination skills• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced wedding environment• Prior experience with large-scale wedding/event structures will be highly preferredSOFTWARE SKILLSAutoCAD | SketchUp | 3D Max | Lumion | V-Ray | PhotoshopIMPORTANT: Candidates must have a practical understanding of structural requirements and load considerations.
