Cafe Barista

About the RoleWe're building a Boba tea & Milkshake brand from the ground up — currently running out of a cloud kitchen with a commercial location on the horizon. We're looking for a Barista who can do more than pull orders off a ticket: someone who takes real ownership of the drink program — consistency, quality, and recipe development — as we scale.This is a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who wants to build something early rather than join something finished.What You'll DoOwn menu iteration — refine existing drinks based on customer feedback, cost, and consistencyPrepare and serve all drinks to brand standard — consistency and speed under pressureOwn quality control: taste-testing, ingredient freshness, portioning disciplineContribute to recipe development and menu iteration — new flavors, seasonal drinks, tweaks based on customer feedbackManage stock levels for drink ingredients and flag reorders before they become a problemMaintain hygiene and food safety standards at all timesTrain and guide any junior team members added as we growWork closely with the founders on menu decisions and drink program direction as we move toward the commercial spaceWhat We're Looking ForPrior barista or F&B prep experience (boba/tea experience is a strong plus, not mandatory)A genuine interest in flavor, consistency, and craft — not just following a recipe cardComfortable working in a small, fast-moving, early-stage setup — things will change as we growReliable, organized, and able to manage stock/ingredients without being chasedGood communication — you'll be working directly with the founder, not buried in a big teamBonus: any experience with recipe costing, menu development, or running a small kitchen/bar independentlyHow to ApplySend your CV and a short note on why boba/drinks is your thing to gideon@teampixxis.com.
