From our flagship location in SoHo to future expansions, our core promiseremains consistent: The Malin delivers carefully crafted environments that empower members to achieve their best work.Position Summary:The Cafe Manager serves as a key operational partner, working closely with the General Manager tosupport the successful launch, stabilization, and ongoing operation of the member cafe. This rolecombines hospitality, relationship management, and operational coordination to deliver an exceptionalexperience.The Cafe Manager is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining elevated servicestandards, and ensuring operational excellence. This individual will serve as an ambassador of thebrand, helping cultivate a culture of hospitality, community, and continuous improvement. This role isideal for a hospitality professional with extensive coffee experience, a passion for developing food &beverage concepts, and a commitment to delivering an elevated guest experience.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Culture:Support the General Manager in fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism, andaccountability.Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that reflects the company's values andservice philosophy.Serve as a visible leader on the floor, setting the standard for hospitality and guest engagement.Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and retention initiatives.Build relationships with members; act as a connector and ambassador for the brand.Financial & Business Management:Partner with the General Manager to achieve financial goals through effective labormanagement, cost controls, and revenue optimization.Assist in monitoring labor, food, and beverage costs while identifying opportunities to improveoperational efficiency.Support inventory controls, purchasing procedures, and financial reporting.Help execute initiatives that improve profitability while maintaining exceptional guestexperiences.Space:Maintain a tidy and orderly environment aligned with brand guidelines and space expectations.Assist with all aspects of the cafe opening, including hiring, onboarding, training, systemsimplementation, and opening preparations.Support cross-functional collaboration with the member experience team, vendors, andcorporate partners to ensure operational readiness.Requirements:The following skills and attributes are crucial for the success of a Cafe Manager at The Malin.
