MITTI has been recognized nationally and internationally for its impact, receiving awards from Forbes, NITI Aayog, the UN, Deutsche Bank, and other leading institutions.Role Description The Cafe Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for overseeing daily operations at a MITTI Café outlet. The role includes supervising and supporting team members with disabilities, coordinating shifts, and ensuring consistent, high-quality food and beverage service. The Cafe Manager handles customer interactions, resolves issues, monitors inventory, and manages ordering and cost control. The role involves maintaining hygiene and safety standards, managing cash and basic reporting, and supporting sales and promotional activities. The Cafe Manager collaborates closely with MITTI’s central team to uphold the organization’s inclusive values and operational guidelines.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to create welcoming, inclusive experiences for all guests.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to guide diverse teams.Candidates should possess Food & Beverage knowledge, including basic understanding of café menus, hygiene, and quality standards.Candidates should possess Food Service skills, such as order management, service flow coordination, and adherence to safety regulations.Candidates should possess Sales skills, including upselling, promoting café offerings, and supporting local outreach initiatives.Experience in team supervision or people management, especially in inclusive or social impact settings, is highly beneficial.Prior work in hospitality, QSR, or café environments is preferred; basic familiarity with POS systems and daily cash reconciliation is an advantage.A relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is beneficial; openness to learning and commitment to MITTI’s mission are essential.
