The Donut Affair values attention to detail and a passion for great food.Role Description The Cafeteria Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in South Goa, responsible for overseeing daily operations of The Donut Affair cafeteria. This role involves supervising food preparation and service, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring that all products meet quality and presentation standards. The Cafeteria Manager will monitor food safety and hygiene practices, manage inventory and ordering, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. The role includes interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and creating a friendly, efficient service environment. The Cafeteria Manager will also track basic sales and costs, help implement promotional activities, and support training and development of cafeteria staff.Qualifications Ability to manage and oversee Food Preparation and Cooking, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes.Strong Food Service and Customer Service skills to provide a positive experience and efficient operations.Knowledge of Food Safety standards and practices, including hygiene, storage, and handling procedures.Experience leading a small team in a café, bakery, or restaurant environment is highly beneficial.Basic inventory management, cash handling, and record-keeping skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, respectful approach to working with staff and guests.Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Prior experience in a specialty food or bakery setting and relevant hospitality or culinary training are an advantage.
