Go-live is only the beginning; making the application genuinely work for the people using it every day is the real job.As a CAFM Technology Specialist, you will act as the functional and technology bridge between the business teams and our technical support/development team. You will be responsible not only for handling requirements and supporting users, but also for proactively improving the CAFM platform, standardizing processes, increasing system adoption, and maximizing the utilization of available ERPNext/CAFM functionality.The expectation is to continuously identify opportunities to improve operations through technology rather than simply responding to incoming requests.What You'll DoCAFM Technology & Continuous ImprovementOwn the functional health and continuous improvement of the CAFM platform.Proactively identify process gaps, inefficiencies, manual activities, and opportunities for automation.Review how the CAFM system is being used across business teams and identify underutilized functionality.Drive increased adoption and effective utilization of available CAFM/ERPNext modules.Maintain a CAFM improvement roadmap based on business priorities and operational opportunities.Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and eliminate unnecessary manual processes.Monitor whether implemented solutions are delivering the intended operational benefits.CAFM Standardization & GovernanceEstablish and maintain standardized CAFM processes across business units wherever practical.Promote consistent workflows, statuses, master data, approvals, and operational practices.Identify unnecessary variations between business teams and drive common solutions where appropriate.Ensure business teams follow approved system processes instead of developing manual workarounds.Evaluate standard CAFM/ERPNext functionality before recommending customization.Challenge unnecessary or high-maintenance customizations and propose better alternatives.Maintain functional documentation, process standards, and system governance.Post-Go-Live Support & StabilizationOwn the functional support and stabilization process across all four service lines.Triage issues and distinguish between system defects, configuration issues, process gaps, and training requirements.Work with the technical support team to resolve genuine system issues.Work with business users to correct process and usage issues.Track recurring issues and address root causes rather than repeatedly resolving symptoms.Drive user adoption through refresher training, floor walkthroughs, user guidance, and documentation.Monitor actual system usage and identify deviations from approved processes.Requirement Analysis & Solution DesignReceive and analyse business requirements, change requests, and enhancement requests.Understand the underlying operational need rather than simply implementing the requested solution.Map requirements against existing CAFM and ERPNext capabilities.Evaluate standard functionality, configuration, process changes, automation, and customization before selecting an approach.Bring standard facility management practices into requirement discussions.Propose alternative solutions when a requested customization is expensive, risky, unnecessary, or better solved through process improvement.Identify common requirements across different business lines and drive reusable solutions.Prepare BRDs, process flows, functional specifications, business rules, and acceptance criteria.Obtain appropriate business sign-off before development or major configuration changes.Implementation & DeliveryCoordinate with the technical/development team during configuration and development.Provide clear functional requirements and knowledge transfer to developers.Participate throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the intended business process is correctly implemented.Conduct functional testing and coordinate UAT.Validate delivered functionality against approved requirements.Coordinate user communication, training, rollout, and post-release follow-up.Monitor adoption and effectiveness after implementation.Business Process OptimizationWork across Facility Management, Pest Control, Maid Services, and Security Services.Understand the operational requirements and differences of each business line.Identify common processes and standardize them wherever practical.Ensure genuine business-specific requirements are handled without unnecessarily creating separate solutions.Optimize processes.Improve operational visibility through appropriate system usage, reporting, and dashboards.What We're Looking For4โ7 years of experience in CAFM, CMMS, ERP, Business Systems, Functional Consulting, Business Analysis, or a similar technology-functional role.Experience supporting and improving a live business application.Strong understanding of facility management/service operations.Experience with work orders, scheduling, site visits, contracts, SLAs, manpower deployment, assets, preventive maintenance, or similar operational processes.Ability to analyse business processes and translate them into system workflows.Strong understanding of the difference between standard functionality, configuration, process improvement, automation, and customization.Proven ability to prepare BRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.Strong documentation and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and technical/development teams.Confidence to challenge requirements constructively and recommend better solutions.Strong mindset toward standardization, system adoption, automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.ERPNext / Frappe experience is highly desirable.CAFM / CMMS / Facility Management experience is highly desirable.
