Calibration Technician

We are continuing to grow as we build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system to support our customers and our next stage of growth. About the Role We are seeking a Saudi National Calibration Technician to support our service operations from our newly established, on-site office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and test precision ultrasonic instrumentation, ensuring every product meets UE Systems' quality standards before it is returned to our customers. Your work will directly support our commitment to delivering reliable products and exceptional customer service throughout the Middle East.This position is ideal for a certified technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality results, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. As our dedicated technical resource in Saudi Arabia, you will work with a high degree of independence, managing your own workload, prioritizing competing demands, and ensuring repairs and calibrations are completed efficiently while meeting established quality and service turnaround expectations. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.To support your success, you will travel to UE Systems' headquarters in the Netherlands for approximately two weeks of hands-on technical training at the start of your employment. During this training, you will learn UE Systems' products, calibration procedures, repair techniques, quality standards, and service processes before returning to provide local technical support throughout the Middle East.As the first Calibration Technician based in our Saudi Arabia office, you will play an important role in expanding UE Systems' regional service capabilities. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together.They Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time.Your Impact Perform calibration, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of UE Systems' precision ultrasonic instrumentationDiagnose faults in analogue and digital printed circuit boards, electronic components, and electro-mechanical assembliesPerform soldering, component replacement, and mechanical assembly/disassembly as requiredOperate electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators, to diagnose and verify equipment performanceComplete calibrations and repairs in accordance with UE Systems' quality standards, technical procedures, and service documentationGenerate and maintain accurate calibration certificates, repair records, and other service documentationManage assigned repairs and calibrations independently while consistently meeting established quality and service turnaround expectationsCoordinate the shipping, receiving, and tracking of customer equipment and repair parts for domestic and international shipmentsMaintain inventory of repair parts, calibration equipment, tools, and service consumablesEnsure the service area, tools, and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe conditionCommunicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding repair status, service updates, and technical questionsRepresent UE Systems professionally by delivering exceptional technical service and customer support throughout the Middle EastFollow all company quality, safety, and operational proceduresYour Experience Recognized technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field3+ years of hands-on experience repairing, testing, calibrating, or servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipmentUnderstanding of analogue and digital printed circuit boards, electronic components, and mechanical assembliesAbility to troubleshoot, repair, and solder electronic or electro-mechanical equipmentAbility to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawingsExperience operating electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generatorsExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Nice to Have Experience working within a manufacturing, technical service, or international business environmentExperience coordinating domestic and international shipping and receivingExperience working with a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and/or ERP or inventory management systemFamiliarity with ISO/IEC 17025-style calibration documentation, traceability, and calibration lab practicesWhy Join Us? We are in the process of radically transforming our business in a way that will redefine our company and our place in the market, making this one of the most exciting times in UE Systems history.
