Camera Operator / Filmmaker

About PodcasthubPodcastHub is a premium podcast and video production studio based in Dubai, operating multiple in-house studios as well as on-location shoots for client brands and businesses. We produce high-end podcast and branded video content for a growing roster of corporate and creator clients across the UAE.Role Summary We're hiring a well-rounded Camera Operator / Filmmaker who can move fluidly between running multi-camera podcast recordings in-studio and being sent independently to a client's business to shoot branded content. This is not a single-lane role. We need somebody who is equally comfortable and confident operating a camera, no matter what the scope is.

Key Responsibilities

In-studio podcast production

• Set up and operate multi-camera recording setups for podcast sessions.
• Own audio quality on set — mic setup, levels, and monitoring.
• Adjust and maintain lighting for each session.
• Manage multi-camera switching/recording through a session smoothly, troubleshooting equipment issues on the fly.Client-site production
• Travel to client businesses and locations to independently film branded content — b-roll, interviews, product/service features, behind-the-scenes, and short-form social content.
• Apply a strong creative eye on-site: read the space, identify the best angles, lighting, and shots, and adapt the shot list in real time to what the location and story actually offer.
• Operate camera, audio, and lighting equipment on location.
• Communicate confidently with clients on-site in both Arabic and English — understanding briefs, asking the right questions, and representing PodcastHub professionally.Post-production
• Edit long-form and short-form content with the ability to shape raw footage into a coherent, publish-ready final cut.
• Apply color correction and audio cleanup to bring every edit up to a consistent, broadcast-ready standard.
• Add basic titles, lower-thirds, and motion graphics where needed.
• Manage footage organization, backups, and file handoff in line with PodcastHub's production workflow.
• Turn around edits within agreed deadlines, prioritizing across studio and client work as needed.Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a camera operator/videographer, spanning both multi-camera studio setups and independent field shoots.
• Demonstrated video editing experience (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Working knowledge of audio recording standards and on-set lighting — able to judge when a take isn't up to standard and fix it, not just point a camera.
• Fluent in spoken Arabic and English; comfortable communicating directly with clients in both.
• A strong, demonstrable creative/visual eye — candidates should be able to show a reel that reflects their own shot choices and editing decisions, not just technical competence.
• Comfortable switching between structured in-studio sessions and independent, self-directed client shoots with minimal supervision.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
• A portfolio with past work.Preferred
• Experience running multi-camera podcast or interview-style productions.
• Experience in short-form content for Instagram/TikTok.
• Basic motion graphics and graphic design skills.
