Employment Type: Full-time, in-houseAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hong Kong Specialist to spearhead our Hong Kong traditional Chinese localization and translation initiatives.

In this role, you will ensure our global e-commerce and travel platforms speak natively and seamlessly to the Hong Kong market. You will lead language quality assurance, manage localization projects, and align our linguistic standards with corporate business objectives.Key Responsibilities Lead and Oversee Localization: Drive the localization and translation strategy for our large-scale e-commerce platforms and travel services into Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong. Quality Assurance and Standards: Establish linguistic guidelines, style guides, and glossaries to maintain brand voice and exceptional quality. Translation Execution: Perform high-quality, professional in-house translations, edits, and proofreading for critical business lines Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and digital marketing teams to ensure seamless feature rollouts for the HK market. The project management: Manage end-to-end translation workflows, timelines, and potentially coordinate with external vendors or junior linguists. Required Qualifications The Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of full-time, in-house experience Working specifically as a professional translator.Educational background: A degree in translation, English Linguistics, or a closely related language field is highly preferred, ensuring formal training in translation methodology and theory.Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) and professional business fluency in English.
