Job Title: Capital Senior Manager

Department: Credit & LendingGroup: Corporate & institutional Banking (CIB)Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaCore Responsibilities: Act as CIB’s subject matter expert on returns, including but not limited to RWA, RoRWA, RoTE, Density & Velocity calculations & trends.

Raise awareness of capital consumption with CIB Relationship Managers and give advice on how lending structures could be approached differently to become more capital efficient. Originate, oversee and support a variety of capital efficiency initiatives to release RWAs and improve RoRWA, lower RWA density and raise Capital Velocity, including data management, distribution and reallocation of capital Ownership of CIB’s Loan Pricing Policy – to ensure the policy is set commercially and allows RMs to negotiate with clients within set boundaries Ownership of Omnia Returns Calculator – liaison with Finance to ensure the calculation is aligned with SAB’s RWA / capital reporting methodology Act as the Final Approver (on CCIBO behalf) for loan pricing approvals in Omnia Returns Calculator, and in this capacity advise senior management and CCIBO about transaction pricing comparables prior to loan origination Advise CCIBO, General Managers and Directors on portfolio-level yields, margin compression / expansion trends, and spread leakage by sector, currency, and tenor. Ensure operational controls are robust for loan margins (accurate data input etc.) Understand which CIB clients are ‘low returning’, and work with Coverage teams on plans to enhance the return we achieve from those clients Be responsible for CIB returns as a direct KPI Operational ownership of any RWA cap CIB may have Serve as a subject matter expert on capital allocation and pricing in Deal Prioritization Committees, challenge business cases for large transactions, and recommend portfolio-level capital reallocation between business units based on risk-adjusted returns and strategic priorities. Understand the key data drivers behind RWA & RoRWA calculations and embed a strong data quality control framework to support accurate regulatory reporting Contribute on behalf of CIB to Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP), Recovery & Resolution Planning and Pre-ALCO.Role Requirements:Experiance in Capital management, loan pricing and limits is a must.Strong knowledge and experiance in Weighted Assets / RWA, Basel, RAROC, capital optimization.A Bachelors or Masters degree in any related major.
