Over nearly five decades, TopForm has built a reputation for consistent culinary excellence and warm hospitality, attracting both local guests and visitors.Role Description The Captain at TopForm Restaurant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for supervising daily front-of-house operations. This role includes managing section allocations, guiding service staff, and ensuring guests are greeted, seated, and served efficiently and courteously. The Captain coordinates order taking, checks food presentation before it reaches the table, and addresses guest requests or concerns in a professional manner. Additional responsibilities include maintaining service standards, supporting reservations and table planning, training team members, and collaborating with the kitchen and management to deliver a seamless dining experience.Qualifications Strong guest service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create welcoming and professional interactions.Experience in supervising restaurant floor operations, including team coordination and table management.Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with guests, service staff, and kitchen teams.Ability to handle busy service periods, multitask, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.Knowledge of food and beverage service standards; prior experience in multi-cuisine or casual fine dining is an advantage.Basic proficiency in POS systems, order taking, and billing processes.Relevant experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry; a diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
