CAP Group also founded Chao Phraya Thai Fine Cuisine, one of the first Thai fine-dining restaurants in Surabaya, which has been recognized for supporting cultural exchange and tourism between Thailand and East Java.Role Description The Captain/Leader Store is a full-time, on-site role based in Surabaya, responsible for leading day-to-day store operations to ensure excellent guest experiences. This role oversees front-of-house and service activities, coordinates staff schedules, and manages opening and closing procedures. The Captain/Leader Store monitors product quality and presentation, ensures adherence to hygiene and safety standards, and supports inventory control and basic reporting. This position also provides hands-on guidance and coaching to team members, resolves guest concerns, and works closely with management to implement promotional activities and operational improvements.Qualifications Strong leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to motivate and guide store staff in a fast-paced environment.Customer service and communication skills to handle guest interactions, resolve issues professionally, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.Basic operational and administrative skills, including cash handling, inventory oversight, and reporting of daily store performance.Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, hygiene and safety practices, and attention to product quality and presentation.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and remain hands-on during peak periods.Previous experience in retail, café, bakery, or restaurant operations is highly preferred.Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or business is an advantage.Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a positive experience for both guests and team members.
