The Captain Waiter will be a cornerstone of our front-of-house team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. This position requires a decisive professional who can manage staff effectively, coordinate seamlessly with kitchen operations, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.Greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and coordinate table assignments to optimize flow and guest satisfactionOversee all aspects of service, including order accuracy, timing, and presentationResolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly, taking decisive action to ensure satisfactionCoordinate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain service efficiency and qualityConduct staff training sessions on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer interaction techniquesMonitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations throughout the dining areaManage reservations and special requests, communicating effectively with guests and team membersMaintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guestsPerform opening and closing duties, including station setup and inventory checksProvide performance feedback to team members and contribute to staff development initiativesQualificationsMinimum 3 years of progressive experience in restaurant service managementProven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; multilingual abilities are preferredStrong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure situationsDemonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of food safety, health codes, and sanitation regulationsProfessional demeanor with strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredExperience in training and mentoring hospitality staff is preferredFamiliarity with wine service and beverage knowledge is advantageous
