Car Rental Manager

Position Title: Car Rental ManagerJob SummaryThe Car Rental Manager is responsible for overseeing all car rental operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service. The role includes managing the vehicle fleet, monitoring rental contracts, achieving the company's operational and financial objectives, leading the rental team, enhancing service quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the daily operations of the car rental office/branch efficiently.Supervise the rental and customer service team, assigning and monitoring daily tasks.Manage vehicle reservations, customer check-in/check-out, and rental processing.Monitor the condition of the fleet and ensure all vehicles are maintained according to scheduled maintenance plans.Review rental agreements and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and legal requirements.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on reservations, fleet utilization, and revenue.Monitor fleet availability to meet operational requirements.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.Oversee insurance claims and accident procedures while coordinating with the relevant authorities.Monitor branch operating expenses and ensure adherence to the approved budget.Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, increase revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction.Coordinate with suppliers, maintenance providers, and vehicle dealerships when required.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).Nationality: any Arab nationality Minimum 3-10 years of experience Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country is mandatory.Strong knowledge of car rental operations, fleet management, customer service, sales, and business development.Familiarity with the Saudi/GCC car rental market, regulations, and industry best practices.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in car rental management systems and Microsoft Office applications.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Good knowledge of Saudi traffic regulations and vehicle insurance procedures.Key CompetenciesLeadership and Team ManagementCustomer Service ExcellenceFleet ManagementSales and Business DevelopmentPlanning and Time ManagementNegotiation SkillsReport Preparation and AnalysisFinancial and Operational ManagementProblem Solving and Decision MakingAbility to Work Under Pressure
