Carbon Project Developer

We are looking for a Carbon Project Developer to join our team and take an active role in the development and management of carbon projects. This position is open to both experienced professionals with a background in carbon markets and project development, as well as recent graduates who are willing to learn and build a career in the carbon market.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging carbon projects throughout the development processIdentifying, assessing and developing new carbon project opportunitiesCoordinating with project owners, technical teams, consultants, validation and verification bodies, and other relevant stakeholdersFollowing the requirements of carbon standards such as VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, CDM and other relevant standardsPreparing, reviewing and managing project documentation in line with applicable standardsFollowing project registration, validation, verification, monitoring and carbon credit issuance processesSupporting emission reduction calculations, monitoring activities and technical documentationFollowing developments in carbon markets, methodologies, regulations and international standardsMonitoring the performance of existing projects and their carbon credit generation processesMaintaining communication with project owners and clients and ensuring effective process managementParticipating in site visits and project assessments when requiredPreparing reports, presentations and analyses related to carbon projects and carbon credit processesRequirementsFor experienced candidates:Previous experience in carbon markets, carbon project development, sustainability, energy, environmental or related fieldsFamiliarity with carbon standards and project development processesAbility to understand and analyse technical documentationGood command of EnglishFor recent graduates:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy, Economics, Business Administration or a related fieldStrong interest in carbon markets and sustainabilityStrong analytical and research skillsWillingness to learn and develop expertise in a new fieldGood command of EnglishGeneral QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented and strong follow-up skillsAbility to manage and follow multiple projects simultaneouslyGood command of MS OfficeStrong team-working skillsWillingness to travel when requiredExperienced candidates will be expected to contribute through their existing knowledge and expertise, while recent graduates will be provided with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in carbon markets and carbon project development.
