The Cardiologist will perform comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions, and provide evidence-based treatment plans in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing relevant cardiology procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The role also involves educating patients and families on cardiovascular health, participating in clinical case discussions, and adhering to all hospital protocols and quality standards. The Cardiologist is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintain accurate medical records, and support emergency cardiac care when required.QualificationsCore medical expertise with strong skills in Medicine and Cardiology.Competence in subspecialty areas such as Interventional Cardiology and Vascular care.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD or equivalent in Internal Medicine, and DM/DNB or equivalent in Cardiology.Valid medical license/registration with relevant medical council and compliance with regulatory requirements.Proven experience in hospital-based cardiology practice, including management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions.Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and familiarity with current cardiology guidelines and best practices.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, quality improvement, and clinical audit activities.
