Supported by a highly skilled team of physicians, surgeons, paramedical, and support staff, the hospital is regarded as one of the leading healthcare providers in neurosurgery in the state.Role Description The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care to inpatients and outpatients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiac imaging, and performing or supervising relevant procedures as per hospital protocols. The role involves close collaboration with emergency and critical care teams for acute cardiac cases, participation in multidisciplinary case discussions, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines and hospital quality standards. The Cardiologist will also contribute to patient and family education, documentation, and continuity of care, while supporting training and mentoring activities where applicable. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thrissur.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in cardiology, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions.Proficiency in interpreting ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac imaging, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.Experience in managing cardiac emergencies, working with ICU and emergency teams, and following evidence-based clinical protocols.Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with a patient-centered approach.Commitment to clinical documentation accuracy, ethical medical practice, and adherence to national and hospital quality and safety standards.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (MD/DM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.Valid registration with the relevant medical council and eligibility to practice cardiology in India.Previous experience in a tertiary care or high-acuity hospital setting is highly desirable.Willingness to participate in continuous professional
