In less than two decades, RMI has established itself as a premier healthcare institution in the region, offering multidisciplinary clinical services and professional development opportunities for healthcare professionals.Role Description The Cardiovascular Technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care, in collaboration with cardiologists and other medical staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating imaging and monitoring equipment, assisting in cath lab procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols. The technologist will work closely with the cardiology team to support timely and accurate diagnosis, contribute to quality improvement activities, and provide compassionate, culturally sensitive patient communication. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Rehman Medical Institute in Peshawar.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills and credentials aligned with professional radiologic standards, such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent.Candidates should possess strong knowledge and practical experience in Cardiology and general Medicine relevant to cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions.Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Cath Lab procedures, including invasive cardiovascular imaging and hemodynamic monitoring.Candidates should possess solid Radiology skills, including safe operation of imaging equipment and adherence to radiation safety guidelines.Diploma or degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related allied health field from an accredited institution.Prior experience in a hospital cardiology department or cath lab setting is highly desirable.Strong attention to detail, ability to follow clinical protocols, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
