Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are hiring 1 Cardiovascular Technologist to run our non-invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostics. Cardiovascular assessment sits at the centre of our preventive programmes, so the quality and reproducibility of your studies directly shape the clinical picture our doctors work from.WHAT YOU WILL DO- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular studies including ECG, transthoracic echocardiography, Doppler and vascular ultrasound, and exercise stress testing- Acquire, measure and archive images and tracings to a consistent protocol so serial studies stay comparable over time- Operate cardiac ultrasound systems and select appropriate settings, transducers and presets for each study- Set up, calibrate and troubleshoot cardiovascular equipment before and during testing- Prepare clients, explain the procedure and ensure comfort, dignity and safety throughout- Screen for contraindications before stress testing and confirm medical clearance and physician presence where the protocol requires it- Monitor clients during and after procedures, record vital signs, and escalate abnormal findings immediately- Document measurements and results accurately in the electronic medical record and prepare technical summaries for the doctor- Maintain, service and quality-check all cardiovascular diagnostic equipment, and keep maintenance and calibration logs- Manage cardiovascular consumables and assist in scheduling studies with clients and the clinical teamWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Diploma or degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Imaging, Echocardiography or an equivalent recognised qualification- Hands-on competency in ECG, echocardiography and vascular Doppler studies- Current BLS certification, as the role includes stress testing- Meticulous with measurement, documentation and protocol adherence- Good English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin an advantage)- Willing to work on a roster basis including weekendsAN ADVANTAGE- Experience in a cardiology unit, cardiac catheterisation laboratory or health screening centre- Professional accreditation in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound- Experience with treadmill or ergometer stress testing protocols- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systemsWHAT WE OFFER- Annual leave: 14 days (below 2 years), 16 days (2 to 5 years), 20 days (5 years and above)- EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB per statutory requirements- Overtime and rest day or public holiday work paid at statutory rates- Structured onboarding on AEVA cardiovascular protocols and equipment, with support for accreditation in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound- Working hours 9.00am to 6.00pm, 6 off days per month by roster- A newly built centre with current-generation cardiovascular imaging equipment
