The Career Counselor will provide individualized career counseling to students and professionals, including assessing interests, strengths, and goals, and helping clients explore academic and career pathways. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one sessions, facilitating group workshops on career readiness and skills development, and advising on internships, admissions, and professional growth opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with educational institutions and partners, maintaining accurate records of client interactions, and contributing to the design and improvement of career services programs and resources. The Career Counselor will engage with diverse client populations and support AcadeMix’s mission of empowering learners in a global education ecosystem.Qualifications Strong counseling and guidance skills, including career assessment, goal setting, and individualized support.Experience in student services, admissions advising, or career development within educational or training environments.Ability to design and facilitate workshops, group sessions, and skills development programs.Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse clients and stakeholders.Proficiency in organizing client information, maintaining accurate documentation, and using digital tools or career platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.Familiarity with global education systems and career pathways, particularly within the UAE and international contexts.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.Fluency in English; additional language skills are beneficial.
