Live-in Caregiver / Special Needs Teacher📍 Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE💼 Employment Type: Full-Time (Live-in)💰 Salary: AED 6,000 per month🏠 Accommodation & Meals: ProvidedAbout the RoleA private family in Umm Al Quwain is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Live-in Caregiver / Special Needs Teacher to provide one-on-one support to an 18-year-old nonverbal young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting individuals with autism and a genuine passion for helping them develop communication, independence, emotional well-being, and daily living skills within a safe, structured, and caring home environment.The individual is highly sensitive to emotions and interactions, so the successful candidate should be warm, positive, emotionally aware, and committed to building a trusting long-term relationship.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one educational and developmental support.Assist with communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.Plan and deliver structured learning, sensory, and recreational activities.Create a calm, positive, and supportive environment that promotes confidence and emotional well-being.Encourage independence while providing assistance with daily routines as required.Support emotional regulation using appropriate techniques and a patient approach.Apply gentle relaxation or massage techniques (if experienced) to help reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.Supervise and participate in swimming activities when appropriate.Collaborate closely with the family and household support staff to ensure consistent care.Maintain regular progress updates and observations.RequirementsPrevious experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), preferably nonverbal adolescents or young adults.Qualification in Special Education, Psychology, ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Caregiving, or a related field is preferred.Patient, compassionate, emotionally mature, and genuinely passionate about supporting individuals with autism.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working in a private household.Ability to swim is preferred.Knowledge of gentle massage or relaxation techniques is an advantage.Willingness to commit to a long-term live-in position.Fluency in Tagalog is mandatory.Working Schedule6 working days per week8–9 hours per dayLive-in accommodation1 day off per weekSalary & BenefitsAED 6,000 per monthFree accommodationMeals providedTransportation provided by the family driverAdditional household support, including an assistant caregiverStable, long-term opportunity with a supportive family environmentIf you have a caring nature, relevant experience, and are passionate about making a meaningful difference in someone's life, we would love to hear from you.
