Its culture emphasizes making a positive difference, embracing change, and learning from experience.Role Description The Caretaker is responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness, basic maintenance, and upkeep of assigned facilities to ensure a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment. This full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai and involves routine cleaning, waste disposal, and care of common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces according to company standards. The Caretaker monitors facility conditions, reports maintenance issues, and may perform simple repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor fixtures, and assisting technicians when needed. The role includes handling cleaning equipment and supplies safely, following health and safety procedures, and adhering to company policies and schedules. The Caretaker may also support occasional event setups, coordinate with supervisors and colleagues, and interact respectfully with building users and visitors.Qualifications Strong facility care skills, including routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas.Ability to safely operate and maintain cleaning tools, equipment, and materials, with attention to health and safety standards.Good observation and reporting skills to identify issues, document them clearly, and escalate maintenance needs promptly.Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and building users in a professional manner.Reliability and time management skills to follow schedules, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift moderate loads, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift, in line with safety guidelines.Previous experience in facilities management, housekeeping, or building caretaking is an advantage.Basic literacy and numeracy; secondary school education or equivalent is preferred.Willingness to work in Dubai on-site, follow company policies, and adapt to changing operational needs.
