Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Cargo Supervisor shall be responsible for:Operating and maintaining all marine systems in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the Compliance Assurance Management System.Understudying the Marine Superintendent and assume his duties and responsibilities during his absence.Operating the radio link between the shore-base, heliport, sea, and the FPSO.Responsibilities:Monitor facility stability with reference to stability, trim, stress and bending moments when on shiftImplement the cargo and ballast plan when on shift.Manage the discharge of produced water to designated plan when on shift.The ‘Responsible Person’ for crude oil washing (COW) and gas-freeing operationsEnsure the offtake equipment and machineries, such as the IGS system, offtake meter and prover, cargo pumps, are always functioning correctly.Responsible for the operation of the cargo pump during offtake operation and assist as required.Periodic inspection of cargo/hydraulic lines.Calculate daily production figures via the tank radar system and manual ullages.Maintain facility keys and security systems.Responsible for the receipt and transmission of messages to/from the shore-base, heliport, maritime authorities, and other facilities within the AngOil Bumi’s jurisdiction.Provide periodic updates on the meteorological forecasts via on-line maritime broadcasts or reports from local meteorological stations.Provide weather updates to pilot of the arriving and departing helicopter to/from the facility.Communicate with the shuttle tanker, OSV, and/or ERRV, as directed by the OIM/Marine SuperintendentEducation Qualifications:Twelve (12) years of educationHigher National Diploma / Diploma level in Merchant Marine / Marine Engineering and/or or other relevant qualification.Knowledge, Experience, Skills:Five (5) relevant operating experience on a facility and detailed knowledge of tanker operations including crude oil washing, inert gas systems and marine safety systems.Experience with safety management systems and computer based maintenance management systems preferred.Extensive experience in crude oil tanks / storage operations preferably on an offshore Facility.Strong personal and interpersonal skills.Certification/Licence/Guideline:Chief Officer Certificate of Competency or equivalent with Tanker Endorsement and GMDSS Operator CertificateOffshore medicalBOSIET / BOSIET-T as applicable.CAA Radio Operator’s Certificate or equivalent (VHF Air-band Operator)CAA Offshore Meteorological Observer Certificate
