AR Cash Applications Specialist📍 Tampa, FL | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote🕐 Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMWe are looking for an experienced AR Cash Applications Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cash applications, payment posting, and Accounts Receivable in a high-volume environment.Key ResponsibilitiesApply and post customer payments accurately and efficiently.Process checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments.Retrieve and reconcile daily bank deposits.Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, duplicate payments, and deductions.Perform account and bank reconciliations.Balance daily/monthly deposits to the General Ledger (GL).Support month-end close activities.Maintain accurate customer accounts and AR records.Collaborate with Billing, Collections, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounting teams.Prepare reports and identify opportunities to improve cash application processes.Requirements3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, with strong Cash Applications experience.Experience with payment posting and reconciliation.B2B experience preferred.ERP experience; SYSPRO or Sage preferred.Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Proactive approach and ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
