Roasters offers a menu that combines world-class coffee with artisan bakery items, signature desserts, and all-day dining for both everyday visits and special occasions. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Hong Kong SAR. The Cashier is responsible for welcoming guests, processing orders and payments accurately, and ensuring a smooth, efficient checkout experience. Day-to-day tasks include operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, and coordinating with baristas and kitchen staff to maintain timely service. The role also involves answering guest questions about menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter, and supporting the team during busy periods. The Cashier contributes to an inviting atmosphere by offering courteous service and upholding Roasters’ standards for hospitality and professionalism.QualificationsDemonstrated cash handling and POS operation skills, with attention to accuracy and basic numeracy.Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly, professional approach to guest interactions.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, including peak hours and shifts, with reliability and punctuality.Basic understanding of food and beverage service or prior experience in retail, café, or hospitality settings is an advantage.Comfort with following standard operating procedures, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and managing queues efficiently.Proficiency in English; knowledge of Cantonese or other languages commonly spoken in Hong Kong is beneficial.Willingness to learn about specialty coffee and menu offerings to assist guests with recommendations.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; eligibility to work in Hong Kong SAR required.
