The Cashier is responsible for handling daily cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of payments related to travel bookings and cargo services. Typical tasks include processing customer payments, balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift, reconciling transactions, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries at the counter, providing basic information about services, and collaborating with the operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth payment experience. The Cashier is expected to follow company policies and local regulations, maintain a professional demeanor, and support a clean and organized workspace.Qualifications Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail for handling cash, card transactions, and daily reconciliations.Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with diverse clients in person and by phone.Basic computer literacy, including use of POS systems, payment terminals, and standard office software.Organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple transactions and maintain accurate records.Prior experience as a cashier, accounts assistant, or in a similar finance or front-desk role is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Kuwait City, including flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.Knowledge of basic accounting or bookkeeping principles is beneficial.Proficiency in English; additional language skills, especially Arabic, are an asset.
