Cashier

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based at the Risense Car Wash Machine Factory on Lagos Mainland. The Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate recording of all daily transactions. Typical duties include operating the point-of-sale system, reconciling cash and electronic payments at the end of each shift, and maintaining organized records for auditing and reporting purposes. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries about services and pricing, coordinating with the service team on completed jobs, and escalating any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. The Cashier is expected to follow established financial procedures, uphold company policies, and contribute to a professional and welcoming customer experience.Qualifications Strong cash-handling skills, with accuracy in counting money and reconciling daily balances.Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic computer use, and common office software.Effective customer service and communication skills for interacting with diverse customers and colleagues.Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity in managing financial transactions and records.Ability to work on-site in Lagos Mainland, standing for extended periods and performing routine tasks efficiently.Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar finance or customer-facing role is an advantage.Basic numeracy and literacy; secondary school education or equivalent required, further relevant training is a plus.Willingness to follow safety and company procedures in a factory
