This role is responsible for processing customer purchases accurately, handling cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts while maintaining proper records. The Cashier will greet customers, answer basic questions about products and pricing, and coordinate with sales staff to ensure a smooth billing process. Daily tasks include balancing the cash register, reconciling transactions at the end of the day, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the billing counter, and following store policies for returns, exchanges, and security procedures. The role also involves assisting with documentation, basic inventory checks related to sold items, and supporting overall store operations as needed.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong numerical accuracy, basic math skills, and attention to detail for handling cash and transactions.Candidates should possess clear communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle queries politely and professionally.Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, and comfort using digital payment platforms.Candidates should possess reliability, honesty, and the ability to follow security and confidentiality protocols when handling payments and jewelry items.Candidates should possess good time-management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, and readiness to stand for extended periods.Prior experience as a cashier or in retail, especially in jewelry or luxury goods, is an advantage.A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training in accounting, retail, or customer service is beneficial.
