The individual in this position is responsible for handling daily cash transactions, processing customer payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of all financial exchanges. Day-to-day tasks include operating the cash register or point-of-sale system, reconciling cash and payment totals at the end of shifts, and preparing basic reports for the accounting or finance team. The Cashier will assist customers with billing inquiries, verify transaction details, and ensure that all payments comply with company policies and procedures. This role also involves safeguarding cash, maintaining a well-organized workstation, and collaborating with administrative and project teams to support smooth financial operations.Qualifications Strong numerical accuracy and basic accounting skills, including cash handling, payment reconciliation, and record-keeping.Proficiency with point-of-sale systems or cash registers, and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets).Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions and billing inquiries respectfully.High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.Ability to work on-site in Kushtia District, manage time effectively, and support a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Previous experience in a cashier, accounts assistant, or similar finance-related role is preferred.Secondary school certificate or higher; additional training in accounting, finance, or business administration is an advantage.
