The role is responsible for processing sales transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, and providing a professional and welcoming customer experience.Key Responsibilities:* Greet customers and assist with basic product, pricing, and promotion inquiries.* Process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately.* Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies.* Reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.* Restock small items around the cashier area when needed.* Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer service.* Follow company procedures and maintain professional standards.Requirements:* Strong communication and customer service skills.* Good basic math and cash-handling abilities.* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.* Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working full-time retail hours, including weekends and peak periods.* Previous retail, cashier, or customer-facing experience is preferred.* Basic computer and POS system knowledge.* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
