About the JobWe are looking for a Cashier to join the Spinneys Philippines team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, handling payments, and providing friendly and efficient service to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and basic concerns.Ensure accurate pricing, discounts, promotions, and transaction records.Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented cashier area.Perform daily cash counting, reconciliation, and other cashier-related reports.Coordinate with other store departments to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.Follow company policies, food safety standards, and security procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a customer service role is an advantage.Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized.Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
