Cashier

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and detail-oriented Cashier to handle customer payments and support smooth daily operations. The role involves processing transactions, issuing receipts, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, comfortable working with numbers, and able to provide professional customer service. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a polite and professional manner. Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods accurately. Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations. Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and transaction records. Verify prices, quantities, discounts, and payment amounts. Handle customer questions regarding payments and transactions. Process returns, refunds, or exchanges according to company policy. Report cash differences or transaction errors to the supervisor. Maintain records of daily sales and payments. Assist with preparing daily cash and sales reports. Coordinate with sales and accounts teams when required. Keep the cashier counter clean and organized. Handle company and customer information confidentially. Follow company cash-handling and security procedures. Support other store or administrative duties when required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Cashier, Sales Assistant, or similar role is preferred. Basic mathematical and calculation skills. Experience handling cash and card transactions is an advantage. Familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Basic computer knowledge. Good English communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional and customer-friendly attitude. Ability to work efficiently during busy periods. UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
