Cashier | Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaAbout the CompanyOur client is a confidential, growing company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, currently expanding its operations and strengthening its customer-facing team.As part of this growth, the company is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cashier who can deliver excellent service, accurately manage transactions, and contribute to a positive and professional shopping experience.Role DescriptionThe Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient checkout operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider store team to support daily operations, maintain high service standards, and contribute to achieving store goals.Key Responsibilities* Greet customers, respond to inquiries, provide product recommendations, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience.* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as returns and exchanges.* Ensure all merchandise is scanned and priced accurately.* Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change when required.* Calculate and return the correct change according to the payment method.* Reconcile the cash drawer and sales receipts at the end of each shift.* Support store sales objectives through appropriate upselling and cross-selling of products.* Develop a strong understanding of the store’s products, features, benefits, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.* Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store and checkout area.* Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, stocking and rotating products, and participating in inventory counts.* Use inventory management systems when required and report any equipment or operational issues.* Remain alert to potential security risks and follow store procedures to help prevent theft, loss, or damage to merchandise.* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve store goals and maintain high customer service standards.Education & Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent.* Good spoken and written English is required.* Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.Experience* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cashier, retail, or customer service role is preferred.* Previous experience in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems is required.* Previous retail experience is an advantage.Candidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates who are:* Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Accurate, organized, and comfortable handling cash and transactions.* Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.* Currently based in Riyadh or available to relocate.* Available to join as soon as possible.* Candidates with a transferable Iqama are preferred.Recruitment Screening FocusFor this recruitment assignment, the current sourcing focus is on candidates from Nepal, India, the Philippines, and Kenya, in line with the client’s requested candidate profile.📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia📅 Joining: As soon as possibleHow to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to send their updated CV and a copy of their Iqama to BL.recruit@hotmail.com, mentioning “Cashier – Riyadh” in the email subject line.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
