WE ARE HIRING | CATEGORY HEAD – AFRICA CLUSTERLocation: UAE (Dubai)We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and commercially driven Category Head – Africa Cluster to lead business growth, profitability and market expansion across the African region.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished business leader with a strong track record in P&L management, general management, strategic growth and vendor relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Drive overall business strategy, revenue growth, profitability and market share across the Africa Cluster.Take complete ownership of the business P&L, ensuring achievement of financial and operational targets.Identify, onboard and develop strategic vendor partnerships across the region.Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans aligned with vendor strategies.Drive sales growth, new product launches, vendor programs and promotional initiatives.Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers, vendors and strategic stakeholders.Lead, mentor and develop high-performing multicultural teams.Identify new business opportunities, market expansion strategies and avenues for sustainable growth.Drive operational excellence and leverage digital transformation to improve business performance.Candidate Requirements:15+ years of overall experience in business leadership, general management or category management.Proven experience managing large-scale P&L and driving business growth and profitability.Strong commercial, strategic planning and sales leadership capabilities.Experience in vendor management, business development and market expansion.Strong understanding of distribution, logistics and regional business operations.Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage complex, multi-country business operations.Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and relationship-building skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and a results-oriented approach.
