Employment Type: Full-timeExperience: 10+ yearsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Category Head – Power & UPS to lead and grow the Power & UPS business for a leading IT distribution company in Dubai.The role will have end-to-end ownership of the category, including P&L, revenue growth, portfolio strategy, vendor management and channel development.A key priority will be to identify, onboard and develop new brands and technology partners that can strengthen the company's Power & UPS portfolio and create new revenue opportunities across the UAE and wider GCC.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the P&L, revenue, gross margin and overall business performance of the Power & UPS category.Develop and execute the category strategy and annual business plan aligned with company growth objectives.Identify and onboard new brands/OEMs across UPS, critical power, data center power and related solutions.Build strong relationships with global and regional manufacturers, negotiating distribution agreements, pricing, rebates, MDF, targets and commercial terms.Evaluate new brands based on market potential, technology, pricing, channel fit and competitive positioning.Develop go-to-market strategies for newly introduced brands and products.Expand the existing portfolio by identifying market gaps and emerging technologies.Drive business through resellers, system integrators, VARs, consultants, e-tailers and data center partners.Work closely with sales teams to develop pipeline, key accounts and strategic opportunities.Own pricing, forecasting, inventory, stock turns and product lifecycle management.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, technology developments and customer requirements.Develop and execute marketing, demand-generation and channel programs with vendors.Lead vendor business reviews and track performance against agreed business plans.Build and lead the category team, providing clear targets, direction and commercial accountability.What We're Looking For10+ years of experience in UPS, critical power, data center infrastructure, electrical solutions or related industries.Strong experience in IT distribution / electrical distribution / technology distribution.Proven track record of P&L / business unit / category management.Strong network with OEMs, distributors, system integrators and channel partners in the UAE/GCC.Demonstrated ability to identify, negotiate and onboard new brands.Strong understanding of UPS, power protection, data center power and related solutions.Strong commercial skills covering pricing, margins, rebates, forecasting and inventory management.Excellent vendor negotiation, business development and relationship-management skills.UAE/GCC market experience is highly preferred.
